        The core technology level is rapidly improving. Around the three core technology areas of "exploration, development, and engineering", Daqing Oilfield has developed four theoretical understandings and innovatively formed 22 core technologies. Among them, the high-efficiency and precise tapping technology of water drive in the late stage of ultra-high water cut and the technology of chemical drive to significantly improve oil recovery rate continue to be at the world's leading level. The fine exploration of conventional oil, the integration of tight oil exploration and development, and the oil and gas exploration technology of faulted basins are at the leading level in China. The theoretical understanding of terrestrial shale oil has achieved strategic breakthroughs, and the supporting technology of cost reduction projects is at the leading level in China.

        Our independent innovation capability has reached a new high. Daqing Oilfield has won a total of 128 awards for superior scientific and technological achievements, including one National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize and one Group Company Science and Technology Progress Special Prize in 2017, and one National Technology Invention Second Prize in 2020; Applied for 1582 patents, authorized 1011 patents, won 2 China Excellent Patent Awards, 6 Group Excellent Patent Awards, and recognized 13 important products for independent innovation by the group company; 94 Outstanding Patent Awards for Daqing Oilfield.

        Significant breakthroughs have been made in international standard work. The "Submersible Linear Motor" project has become the first product standard officially approved by ISO in the field of China's petroleum drilling and production equipment, achieving a breakthrough of zero and effectively enhancing China's petroleum industry.
