Crude Oil Demulsifier


 Product overview 

Demulsifiers are essential chemical additives in the petroleum extraction, refining, and wastewater treatment industries. Their main component is surfactants, which can break down the emulsified liquid structure to separate the phases within the emulsion. Crude oil demulsification refers to the use of a demulsifier's chemical action to separate oil and water from an emulsified oil-water mixture, achieving the purpose of crude oil dehydration to meet the standard for water content in transported crude oil. To meet field requirements, our company has collaborated with China University of Petroleum (Beijing) to develop a series of crude oil demulsifier products.

 Product features 

1.The demulsifier has excellent wetting performance and sufficient flocculation and coalescence capabilities, allowing the emulsion system to quickly break down and achieve oil-water separation. It is suitable for various crude oil extraction processes both domestically and internationally, as well as for dehydration and desalter operations in refineries and wastewater purification in wastewater treatment.

2.This series of products is suitable for demulsifier dehydration of crude oil in oilfields, offering clear dehydration and fast speed advantages. It can be used for pure chemical demulsification and dehydration, and also has viscosity reduction and oil displacement functions. Adding it to pipelines can reduce usage amounts and lower demulsification costs.

3.This series of products includes oil-soluble and water-soluble types, with multiple models designed to adapt to different physical properties of crude oil for dehydration.

 

 Method of Use 

   1.This product is injected into the crude oil intake pump inlet using a volume pump. The injection amount depends on the process system, type of crude oil, and other process parameters, with dosage levels ranging from 3ppm to 15ppm, and a general recommendation of 5ppm to 9ppm.

   2.The dosage ratio can also be determined through experimentation.
